Harlingen Couple Photographer / Gayle and Myrna

I think one of my favorite people to photograph are older couples.
There is something about the way they are so comfortable around each other. Some kind of complicity that can only come from living together for many years. From laughing, crying and facing adversity side by side.
There is a "look" that can't be accomplished in early marriage. It has to be seasoned with the kind of love that grows at the same pace of wisdom.
This special couple have been together for the past 50 years and I think I was able to capture the "look" in their session.
Thank you Mr. Gayle and Mrs. Myrna for allowing me to see a glimpse of the beauty of your lives. And thank you for sharing your family with me.

Harlingen Family Photographer / The Brogdon and The Plattner Families

I was invited to take their pictures as a celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Brogdon's 50th anniversary.
The weather was perfect, their backyard was breathtaking and everyone was so nice and happy.
Thank you Brogdon and Plattner's families for allowing me to capture such a special memory. I hope you enjoy your photos.

Harlingen Children's Photographer / Hunter and Hayden

So, I think the cutest kids in Texas somehow find me and I get to take their pictures. In the last couple months I had the opportunity to photograph some pretty amazing kids.
Hunter and Hayden are adorable!! Hunter had no problems posing for the camera and Hayden was happy as long as mom or dad fed him some gummy bears (anything to get that smile going ;))
Their dad is one of our city's heroes whom I photographed when I did a shoot for  United way (see it here). The boys were so comfortable on the firetruck!
Thank you Hunter and Hayden for the fun afternoon and thank you mom and dad for trusting me with your boys.

Harlingen Family Photographer / The Wright Family

This is my second time photographing the Wrights and again, I had so much fun with them. I went back to look at their last session (here) and I was surprised on how much the boys grew up. Austin is leaving to College next year and I can't wait to take his senior pictures in January!

Thank you Wright family for inviting me into your home and allowing me to spend time with you. You guys are very dear to my heart :)
