John and Aprillee

When I started taking pictures I told my friends I would never do a wedding. I so admire wedding photographers. But I think that taking pictures of a wedding is such a big responsibility that I would be afraid to mess up and I know that I wouldn't get a do over. But here is what happened. This very cute couple was getting married and for reasons of their own they didn't want a big party or celebration or lots of guests. And they didn't have a photographer. I couldn't change their minds about the party :) but at least I could take some pictures and save the memories of such an amazing time of their lives. John and Aprillee are adorable and I wish a whole life of happiness and blessings to them. Here are some of the pictures. By the way, the handsome pastor officiating the wedding is my husband. I am so proud of him.

Meghan is my best friend's daughter and as I was taking the pictures I couldn't stop thinking she is sooooo beautiful! Ok, I might even have shouted that once and scared some people around me :) But she is and she is so graceful! She takes dancing very seriously and even that she still have the innocence of a child she already have the pose of a prima ballerina. Little Aaron

Not a lot of work this week. I am trying to cope with the idea that my kids don't have to go to school for almost 3 months and I need to figure out what to do to keep them busy. But on Thursday I took some pictures of a very special little boy. A few months ago I had a session with him and his twin sister Paige and it was a blessing. Two very active kids that had me jumping and running and crawling to get a picture but it end up being some of the cutest photos I've ever done. Aaron is a little warrior. The twins were born prematurely and almost a year ago they found out that Aaron had Pulmonary Vein Stenosis. I can't really explain here what that really means but he had to have open heart surgery. The whole family has been through a lot, but Aaron's amazing mom and dad never give up. And now, a year later Aaron is, on his mom's own words "our very own Superman". I love you Silva family and I will never give up on my prayers for you.
